What we collect
Account details (name, phone number, email), the profile information you choose to provide, and basic usage information needed to run the service. Profile information may include your date of birth, gender, religion, community, education, profession, location, photographs, and family and sibling details where you choose to add them.
How it is used
Your profile information is used to show you to other members and to rank matches against partner preferences. Your phone number and email address are never displayed on your public profile — they are shared only after an interest has been accepted by both sides.
Your choices
You can edit or remove profile details at any time from My Profile, and you can request deletion of your account from Settings. Deleting your account removes your profile from search and from other members' views.
Safety data
When you report or block another member we record who reported whom, the reason given, and the outcome. We keep this for as long as it takes to run our moderation process and to keep members who have been removed from returning.
Children
Olive Matrimony is a marriage service for adults only and is not intended for anyone under the legal age of marriage. We do not knowingly collect information from minors. If we learn that a profile belongs to a minor we close the account and delete the data.
Sharing
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with service providers who help us operate the service — for example our SMS provider for one-time passwords and our payment provider for membership payments — and only to the extent needed to perform that function, or where we are required to by law.
Security
Traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Passwords are stored hashed, never in plain text. Access to member data is limited to staff who need it to operate and moderate the service.
